Whey Protein Oatmeal Peanut Butter Balls
By John Fairchild
Nourishes: Makes 18 - 1 ounce balls
Ingredients:
1 cup whole oats
2 scoop Nutriage Chocolate Whey Protein Powder
1 scoop Nutriage Vanilla Protein Powder
3 Tbsp. cinnamon chips
1 tsp. cinnamon
Pinch of salt
½ cup of Better N Peanut Butter or natural PB
6-8 prunes
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 Tbsp. molasses
2 Tbsp. unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Up to ¼ cup honey or agave
Small amount of crushed pistachios (optional)
Methodology:
Mix oats, powders, chips, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl.
Using a blender or Nutribullet, blend prunes, molasses, vanilla, and milk until it forms a paste.
Using gloves, with a little Pam spray on them, mix peanut butter, prune mix and part of the honey into a slightly dry dough, just enough so mixture will form into a ball when pressed. If it is too dry use a little more of the honey.
Form into 1-ounce small balls, roll in crushed pistachios if desired, and place on wax paper. Cover and refrigerate.
